CDC Group

CDC Group

For over 40 years now, the CDC group has been considered one of the most prominent and dynamic healthcare institutions in the Piedmont region, developing a complete diagnostics activity in over 30 centres across the entire regional territory.

Health services accredited by the Italian national health service are provided by C.D.C. S.p.A., whilst services funded privately or by state-affiliated private healthcare institutions are operated by C.D.C. Centro Polispecialistico Privato S.r.l. (C.D.C. multi-specialized private center).

C.D.C. S.p.A. has been awarded an “A” bracket accreditation for all the services it provides: clinical analysis laboratory, health center, medical imaging, and physiotherapy.

It is worth noticing that accreditation norms define all the structural, technological, organizational, and management requirements for the performance of healthcare activities by both public and private structures, classifying each sector based on three quality levels, ranging from fair (C) to excellent (A).

In the scope of all the sectors in which it operates, C.D.C. Centro Polispecialistico Privato S.r.l. has developed its activity even in the pediatric field, launching a highly specialized center for children between 0 and 14 years of age.

The CDC clinical laboratory has put in place a quality management system – in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standards – for the provision of laboratory medicine services (a standard laboratory, plus specialized areas for Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology, Hematology, Microbiology and Hemoimmunology, Cyto-histopathology, and Medical Genetics).

The Occupational Medicine branch of C.D.C. Centro Polispecialistico Privato S.r.l. has earned a UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification for its health surveillance, diagnosis auditing, and health risk assessment services.

Quality

The CDC Group aims to offer high-quality, efficient and effective services, with a philosophy of continuous advancement. All diagnostic activities are carried out in the strictest observance of national and regional regulations and in compliance with the most current Code of Practice.

Considering the Patient an active and conscious subject of the services rendered, C.D.C. bases its efforts on five key principles.

Equality

The services are provided equally to everyone, regardless of age, sex, race, nationality, religion or political position.

Impartiality

The behaviour adopted by the staff is impartial, neutral and objective.

Humanization

Education and respect for the dignity of the person, as well as courtesy and kindness, are essential and recognized aspects in the services provided.

Efficiency and effectiveness

Services are provided by the administration and optimization of the resources available in order to achieve maximum results in terms of quality, reliability and speed.

Improvement

Effort is made towards the continuous improvement of services through the involvement of all staff and a constant revision process.
